Dracma Token ​

Dracma (DMS) is the native utility token of EmpoorioChain, powering the decentralized infrastructure that OmilooS relies on for network fees and settlement.

Role in OmilooS ​

OmilooS anchors device and telemetry commitments on EmpoorioChain. Dracma is the fee token for those on-chain operations, and the settlement currency for peer-to-peer energy trading once that feature is connected:

1. Transaction Fees ​

Every write operation OmilooS makes to EmpoorioChain requires a small DMS fee. This includes:

  • Anchoring a telemetry snapshot hash (pallet-iot-telemetry)
  • Reporting solar proof of generation (pallet-solar-generation)
  • Assigning a device DID during hardware provisioning (pallet-device-registry)

2. Energy Settlement (roadmap) ​

pallet-energy-market supports submitting and filling P2P energy orders, settled in Dracma. This bridge code exists in the app, but the P2P Energy Market screen is not yet wired to call it — see the architecture guide for current integration status.

3. Network Security ​

Dracma is used for staking by EmpoorioChain validators who secure the network where OmilooS anchors its commitments.

To interact with EmpoorioChain testnet, developers and users need Dracma tokens.
